There are four models to choose from in the Stuart line of melting point apparatus equipment. There is a choice of a digital or analog aparatus. Depending on your needs, there are models that offer memory and/or an accessory printer, or a built-in cutter.What all the models have in common is that all Stuart bench top equipment is protected by BioCote®, which uses active agent silver to provide effective microbial protection.

The automatic SMP40 is new to the Stuart line of melting point equipment. The automatic melting point accurately identifies the melting point of up to three samples simultaneously via the latest technology in digital imaging. An already existing model, the SMP30, has a new face and has been up-dated with many improvements and novel features, many of which are patented, such as the head up display that allows the user to see a display of the block temperature through the sample viewfinder. The last two models are the SMP10 which is a digital unit with 1°C resolution making it ideal for quality control purposes. The SMP11 is an analog system which uses a mercury free thermometer, making it ideal for education.
