Metabowl Animal Cages for Metabolism Studies

Metabowls are all-glass metabolic cage systems for studying the excretion and respiratory pattern of small rodents. It is sometimes desirable to study the excretion pattern of small animals following an injection of carbon 14 labeled compound. Although designed with the carbon 14 injection in mind, the system can be used efficiently for all types of metabolic experiments where separation of feces, urine and expired carbon dioxide is required.

The Metabowl systems are a series of time proven, well designed cages for metabolism tests. Made throughout of high quality heat resisting glass, with the exception of the Stainless Steel floors, with all parts interchangeable by means of ground glass joints to ISO standards.
