Lab Water Distiller

The 4000X and 8000X laboratory water stills are fully automatic, vertical boiler water stills, producing 4 and 8L/hr of ultra-pure pyrogen-free distillate, from any potable tap water supply. They are simple to operate and easy to clean. Glass Water Stills continue to be a most effective and economic method of producing ultra-pure water for laboratory use. During distillation, water passes through the vapor phase, which presents a particularly effective barrier to the passage of a wide range of impurities. Distilled water is extremely low in inorganic and organic contaminants, and is bacteria and pyrogen-free.

Robust rollabouts for holding and transporting your 50L distillate containers or aspirators are available. An under-shelf holds beakers and jugs. Strong steel construction, stove-enamelled finish, 4 strong castors with rubber tires for silent running; 2 with brakes. Two trolleys available to hold any container up to 350mm and 380mm diameter. Aspirators are not available through Jencons, therefore the rollabouts are supplied without aspirator.

The Autostill Distillate Storage Tank has a 50 liter inner storage tank of natural polypropylene (to maintain the ionic purity of the distillate) surrounded by a sturdy metal case which has detachable legs for bench mounting. A level-protection device (which connects directly to any of the range of automatic stills), prevents flooding. The 4000X and 8000X models should be wall-mounted above the tank.
