Jencons, working closely with a major pharmaceutical company, has developed a unique PTFE plunger and borosilicate glass syringe for multi-dispensing of corrosive liquids that would otherwise destroy standard polypropylene syringe and tip systems. This PTFE plunger and glass syringe is particularly effective when dispensing accurate doses of Trifluoroacetic acid (TFA), often used in combinatorial chemistry procedures. The autoclavable, borosilicate glass barrel is precision engineered to exacting tolerances ensuring a dispensing accuracy previously unattainable when using standard manual pipetting techniques.

Both PTFE piston and glass barrel are not affected by use with TFA, thus eliminating any deterioration of the materials or contamination of the acid during the dispensing process. The Repette glass barrel, together with PTFE plunger, can be cleaned for repeat use. Each Repette dispenser is supplied without the syringe system, which should be ordered separately depending on requirements.
